This description about Neem Oil is copied from my suppliers webpage - (Beautiquip):
"Neem Oil Virgin Organic
Apart from that Neem oil is an amazing product as an insect repellant/pesticide and fertilizer it also has amazing qualities beneficial to the skin.
Neem Oil is used in skin care because it’s loaded with nutrients. Neem contains extraordinarily high levels of antioxidants that help to protect the skin from environmental damage. Neem also contains carotenoids (similar to carotene) which provide high antioxidant compounds that help defend the skin against age-promoting free radicals.
Neem Oil is ideal for acne-prone skin because it can help to soothe irritation and inflammation, clear up pimples and remove bacteria from the surface of the skin that can cause more break-outs. The high fatty-acid content in Neem Oil is said to prevent and treat scars from acne and is non-comedogenic. Its leaves are also an excellent exfoliant that can be used in a facial masque to pull out impurities and tighten pores.
Since Neem is especially high in important fatty acids and vitamin E and can quickly penetrate outer layers of skin, it is extremely effective in healing dry and damaged skin. Its strong antiseptic properties will also help to keep bacteria and secondary skin infections at bay. "

For this soap we used Neem Oil at 10%.

Other ingredients:
The Shea butter is the yellow, unrefined
(description from my suppliers - Pure Nature - webpage:
"Our Ghanaian, unrefined Shea is a heavenly creamy, soft and silky Shea that is hand-made in rural Ghana. Made the traditional way, the crushed Shea nuts are roasted over an open fire so the finished butter has a mild smokey smell.
Yellow Shea gets its colour from the addition of the bark from the Borututu plant
(Cochlospermum angolensis) which is added during the boiling stage. Borututu is used in traditional medicine and has been shown to have antioxidant properties."

Essential Oils It's important to note that while essential oils have gained popularity for their natural origins, they can be potent and should be used with care. Essential oils may trigger allergies or skin sensitivities in some individuals, and their usage often requires dilution and proper knowledge. Which is why we’re very careful in our usage of them and often prefer to use Fragrance oils. We adhere to European safety regulations and never put more than 3% into our oils and usually use a mix of Essential oils to really be on the safe side here. As with our fragrance oils, we only buy from reputable sellers.
Pine Tar Known for its earthy, smoky scent and dark color. Traditionally used for its soothing and calming properties. May be beneficial for sensitive or troubled skin.
Neem Derived from the neem tree and known for its pungent aroma. Offers natural antibacterial and antifungal properties. Can be helpful for addressing skin issues and promoting a healthy complexion.
Citric acid in your soap serves a dual purpose. It helps your soap perform well in hard water by preventing mineral build up, ensuring a rich lather. Additionally, it acts as a natural preservative, extending the soap's shelf life for a longer-lasting product you'll enjoy.
Sugar Added to soap recipes to increase lather and bubbles. Acts as a natural humectant, attracting moisture to the skin.
